At one point fans held Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Tekken as exclusive members of an
elite echelon of video games rarely achieved by many in the fighting genre...Until Soul Calibur was released into to the world. Though in todays' video game landscape it seems Soul Calibur has been left to the bargain bins of video game history.  Once iconic characters like Ivy, Cervantes, and Sigfriend have faded from the gaming ecosystem.  But how exactly did Soul Calibur end up this way?
